Another glorious sunny day in Victoria and i met up with Will again to check out this lake. We met at my hostel and got a bus out of town towards Sooke and worked out where to get off. We walked up a busy road to get to the lakeside park entrance and were met by a hefty amount of families and dog walkers as it was a Sunday. We did a little circle of the lake and had lots of laughs again. The ice was still thick on the trail and we slid up and down some precarious little hills. We discussed how you see far more attractive dogs than you do people and took a few pictures of the lake. A short loop, but we rewarded ourselves with a couple of beers in the English style pub before heading back into town slightly tipsy at 3pm. Unfortunately i am missing pictures from this one too! This is what happens when i don’t do write ups in real time!
