Haven’t done many with mum lately so we went for a little Christmas eve walk today. We were meant to follow an old route mum knew when i was a child, but she couldn’t really remember it so we cracked out trusty maps.me to make a route. We followed very muddy field edges passing by lovely farmhouses (one with lots of chickens!) and down into Annscroft. Heading back out of the village through more fields we later came upon some double decker buses parked in a field. Walking by the quite fast dangerous road through Hook- a Gate was a bit annoying but we were soon out of it onto more fields. The rain held off and we had some good sunshine at times. It was good to get outside with mum. Not sure how far we went but it took about 2 and a half hours.
