After a wintry rainy day yesterday and lots of early winter blues it was great to have a sunny little walk up here with a friend today. After an annoying drive over with lots of flood water I was glad to be out walking. A steepish climb up with lots of families out for a Sunday stroll was worth it- stunning panoramic views of Shropshire and snowy hills in the distance.
We walked back along a muddy wet track and caught up on the last few months of each others lives along the back lanes. An easy Sunday walk with lots of Autumn colour, about two and a half hours.
