24- Wild Pacific Trail

I’ve been wanting to do this beauty of a coastal walk down in Ucluelet for a while, and have previously done the lighthouse loop with a friend on a sunshiney glorious day, but never the rest of the trail. The sun came out for me again for this day and I had a good stomp along the paved trail stopping at lots of lookouts. Unfortunately i wasn’t in the right mindset to completely enjoy the scenery due to some personal turmoil going down- though in hindsight this was mainly attributable to a hangover and exhaustion. Luckily the trail did some good and despite it being quite a busy one with lots of Sunday strolling people I still had some good beach time along the way. The trail has lots of little side loops going close to the rocks and is very beautiful. I got a bit confused walking by Black Rock resort and the buildings in the middle of the trail are a bit of an eyesore but i found my way around it. I found my way back into town after this and had a long nap in the afternoon sun which sorted me right out.

#24- the power of the trail! about 8km
