Another lovely day out with the people from the meet up group. I walked about half an hour through town to meet Craig and Laura and get a lift to the lake. We had a good drive out and make it after a little wrong turn and met up with the others. As the last few hikes had been, the sun shone gloriously but it was bitter in the shadows. There was a large group of us and a couple of dogs, i stayed near the back and chatted with a couple of people. About half way around it turned out there was another English girl walking with us and we got on really well and gossiped the rest of the walk. It was a fairly short hike but very enjoyable, with lots of lengthy viewpoint stops. The best part actually came afterwards when we all retired to the My Chosen cafe which has amazing cakes and all sorts of yummy things. Sort of well earned….
