I was so glad i got to do this one! It was very high on my list but being harder to get to without a vehicle i was unsure whether i would make it. Luckily my friend Maud, from the hostel, was keen to go so we went together. A lovely drive down and found the parking lot easily enough with the sat nav. We were so lucky to have another gorgeously warm day and this trail did not disappoint. I remember feeling really relaxed as we made our way to the first white sand beach on the trail and clambered over roots and rocks along the shoreline route. Stunning views along the whole way made it really enjoyable and the scrambling was fun and just the right amount of challenging for me. We had lots of viewpoint stops and watched a seal chilling in an inlet at one point. We made the walk a loop through the forest to get back to the car and had another easy drive home. A very good vibes day. I’m feeling very nostalgic about my time in Victoria as i write this.
