New year, new challenge

I am rather naughtily writing up numbers 1-16 in fuzzy, undetailed hindsight. I took a break from blogging at the start of the year due to some misguided idea that it wasn’t ‘useful’ or ‘worth it’ to write. Well, i may not have a huge following or earn a cent, dime or penny from doing it- but writing about my hikes feels like an achievement and i shouldn’t have stopped. As a side affect of this late write up for 1-16 some of the distances are likely inaccurate, apologies for that. It keeps me going when i go through phases where i have only the time to work and save for my next trip or am somewhere without accessible, enjoyable hiking nearby. This year started off with brand new beautiful Merrell boots, pictured. So no excuses! As i write this in April they are already looking older than they should due to a muddy number 17! So without further ado- here’s 2019 in walking tales!
